Designed in Europe, Glamtainer® builds their Glamtainers to New Zealand standards, to ensure quality and compliance.

Our flagship model is a 20-foot-high- cube slide-out luxury accommodation unit that can be used for a variety of purposes with an area up to 25sqm.

All Glamtainers are designed from the ground up with each one offering a unique experience that can be customised to your needs.

Manufacturing is carried out in-house, allowing us to manage and monitor quality standards throughout the entire process.

HOW IT WORKS

THE EXTENDABLE

The side of the Glamtainer is opened and used as a floor. The slide-out system expands the internal space almost 100% more than a standard sized container.

With a single person, the unique fold down and slide-out system supports a set-up time of less than one hour.

In extreme weather conditions the containers can be locked up just as quick, protecting your investment.

MATERIALS

In every Glamtainer the following materials are used:

  • High density spray foam insulation on all concealed surfaces

  • Double glazed windows 


  • Durable cladding 


  • Certified electrical and plumbing fit-out and fixtures 


  • Environmentally sustainable flooring 


  • Glamtainer can provide a complete internal package including all furnishings.

CONSTRUCTION

Like every shipping container the container part of the Glamtainer is made of steel. Only the Glamtainer is reinforced on all levels, and this makes it one of the strongest shipping containers ever.

Inside the walls are fixed to a light cage metal framing, after steel caged structure are first treated with fire retardant and highly insulating spray foam. The walls itself are made of fireproof gypsum boards. The finish can be chosen.
